Randy Nixon Memorial Metric

Join us Saturday, May 16, to remember and celebrate the life of our late club founder and community leader, Randy Nixon. We will offer three rides from Alpha Ridge Park: a 62.2-mile metric century (8 a.m.), a 31.6-mile half metric (9 a.m.), and a 23-mile “Lite” route (10 a.m.). All will end at the park, where the club will host a potluck picnic. This event is a fundraiser for cancer and heart research, with all funds raised to be split equally between the American Cancer Society and American Heart Association. Join us Wednesday, April 1, at 5:30 p.m., for our weekly road ride. Choose from two routes in western Howard County: 17 miles and 22 miles. The ride leaves from the Gary J. Ride with Us

Our mission is to promote cycling opportunities for riders of all abilities—and to “ride with your friends.” On Wednesday evenings during the warm months, we ride the rolling roads of western Howard County, Md., starting and ending in Glenwood. We also occasionally offer weekend rides from other points. In the winter, we host evening trail rides on the bike paths of Columbia, Md. You do not need to be a member to ride with us. All you need is a love of cycling. Join us for a ride!
