Volunteer to Be a Road Marshal

The HoCo Cyclists’ mission, to “ride with your friends,” can be achieved only with the support of our members. So, we encourage experienced members to volunteer as a Road Marshal (sweep) for the Supported group of our Wednesday rides. The Road Marshal accompanies the slowest rider(s) and encourages bike etiquette, provides guidance, and addresses unsafe behaviors. Road Marshals are not expected to be on-road mechanics.

Please take a few minutes to select a ride and sign up as a Road Marshal. Use the form below to volunteer. First, provide your email address, name, and mobile phone number. Then, click “Next” to choose a ride (only rides for which we still need sweeps will be listed).
